About the Photographer

I'm so glad you stopped by!

Let me take a moment to tell you a little about me......

Photography and teaching have always been my two passions in life!  

In high school and college I spent time working in a few different portrait studios.  After attending college to get a degree in Early Childhood I spent quite a few years in the classroom.   

When my own children came along I made the jump to start Making Memories Photography, with my main focus being preschool photography.  I also have a love for working with families to capture memories for them year after year. 

Most recently, my family picked up and moved from Arizona to South Carolina.  I really look forward to capturing images in this part of the country!

I love spending time with family and friends, but also enjoy sitting on the beach with a good book, watching the sunset from anywhere, and taking long walks anywhere outside.  You can typically find me enjoying an ice cold Diet Coke, a good margarita or anything chocolate!
